A slider controls the size of font tiles, and when not viewing font tiles you can enable WYSIWYG display of font names, style linking and font family grouping. Checkboxes let you enable the visibility of various features, such as a font’s label, rating, activation state, and whether to show missing PostScript printer fonts and invisible fonts. The most commonly used display settings are now available in an optional panel on the right side.
While this image shows Font Tiles in the simplest interface arrangement, the Font Tile view is available in all view modes, including those that show additional font previews. The new Font Tile view helps you find the best fonts for a specific set of characters, such as Macworld. This new view displays a few characters in each font, making it easy to find a font that has a specific flavor or quickly scan for appropriate fonts for a specific typographic logo.

Closed and re-opened Illustrator just in case. I set the AIP file to "open with illustrator" under get info - then performed the right click open and was queried to allow it. In the case of the AIP file it was a bit wonky as some locations didn't acknowledge the plugin as an application. This didn't solve for the plugin but is usually a good place to start.įrom this point you can always right click, open (MUST be right clicked) - then be given an option to open anyway and save the app as trusted by the system.
